Benefits

Glass mosaic has its own aesthetic strengths, arising from the simplicity of the material, and has endless applications for original and creative decorative effects.
Glass is highly resistant to thermal shock and has technical characteristics that allows its use outside or even under water.
This product is waterproof and is coloured cast without the use of adhesives or paint surfaces, so that the shade remains unaffected by sunlight and does not wear out over time.
Colours are enhanced by the translucence of the glass and are suitable for use in solid blocks and in mixtures, to create different nuances or unique combinations.

Applications

Vitreo mosaic can be laid on floors or vertically on interior and exterior surfaces. It is also suitable for water applications, such as shower trays or swimming pools. The size of the tesserae (2 x 2 and 1 x 1 cm) and the frequency of the joint (1 mm) mean the surface has inherent slip resistance, although on request a special GRIP manufacturing process can give Vitreo mosaic even more anti-slip characteristics.
The effect is permanent and does not involve the addition of other materials, nor does the roughness of the surface damage tissues with which it comes into contact, with barefoot slip resistance reaching class C and shoes attaining class R11. Although the mosaic is waterproof, this does not preclude waterproofing the foundation substrate in swimming pool and similar applications.
