But first, a bit of history. Featuring a lifetime of experience manufacturing mosaic, glass tile and terrazzo, Dr. Pino Bisazza and Andrea Di Giuseppe assembled their most passionate and committed colleagues to form the TREND Group in the year 2000. Handpicked to help them achieve their goal of melding age-old beauty with modern ingenuity, the team at TREND Group soon hit the mark.
Nowhere is that more evident than at our world headquarters in Vicenza, Italy. Beginning in 2005, the seventeenth-century façade of the Villa alle Scalette was painstakingly restored while the interiors were transformed into a medley of our most contemporary materials. This fusion of past and present is also alive at our charming Orsoni glass foundry in Venice which produces venerable mosaic tile and hand-cut enamel for present-day artisans worldwide.
Turning technology into art with a nod to tradition, the Pino Bisazza Glass Factory in Kadi, India is the source of TREND’s extensive and diverse collections of glass mosaic. We also feature TREND locations in Sydney, Australia and Sebring, Florida in the United States that specialize in turning these mosaic tiles into carefully calibrated uniform sheets. Our USA manufacturing plant also produces over 8 million square feet of terrazzo slabs per year. Ideal for flooring, wall coverings and countertops, the durability of terrazzo has brought beauty on a grand scale to private homes, commercial businesses, public buildings and industrial facilities across the globe.
