Description
In the vibrant heart of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, rises one of the most ambitious cultural projects of the modern Islamic world: the Center of Islamic Civilization. Conceived as a symbol of cultural and spiritual rebirth, this extraordinary complex is a tribute to knowledge, art, and faith.
Opened to the public in March 2026, the center will host a national Islamic library, exhibition spaces, conference halls, archives, and areas dedicated to study and contemplation.
The project reaches its artistic peak in the mosaic decoration created by TREND for the central dome, interior and exterior, the symbolic and visual heart of the entire complex.
Fully clad in mosaics, its surface reflects natural light in a dazzling interplay of luminosity. Architecturally, it integrates muqarnas, decorative drums, and traditional Islamic geometries, reinterpreted with artistic sensitivity and technical mastery.
