Description
The Mataf Ceiling at the Great Mosque of Mecca, spanning 216,800 m², required lightweight yet high-performance solutions. Structural panels were developed that are both light and durable, enriched with mashrabiya patterns, and integrating acoustic insulation, fire protection, and custom LED lighting.
This landmark project sets a new benchmark in the use of composite materials in architecture, as the decorative elements also feature custom-cut etherium® slabs in various colors, seamlessly incorporated into the design.
