Decorated vases in artistic mosaic

In 2006, TREND and Missoni joined forces for a spectacular celebration of design, color, and innovation. The stage was set at Villa alle Scalette, where the historic villa “wore” Missoni in a dazzling display of fashion and artistry.
The challenge launched by TREND, to dress a Venetian villa, was embraced by Missoni’s exceptional designers, who brought their signature graphic designs, vibrant colors, and rich history into a harmonious fusion with TREND’s style.
A true testament to the power of artistic collaboration, it was discovered that the mosaic techniques shared striking similarities with the creation of textiles. Just as the threads in fabric interact to form intricate designs, the colors in mosaics come together in the same way, creating visually stunning patterns. This revelation highlighted the deep connection between two seemingly different crafts, demonstrating the artistry and innovation that unite them.
