Developer
To strengthen our workforce, we are looking for a Middle Programmer specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with experience in the development, customization, and maintenance of ERP solutions in a corporate environment. The candidate will join the IT team and contribute to the development of new features, integration with third-party systems, and the evolutionary support of existing solutions.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Develop and maintain customizations on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central;
- Create AL extensions following Microsoft best practices;
- Analyze functional requirements alongside consultants, key users, and internal stakeholders;
- Develop application objects and components such as page extensions, table extensions, codeunits, reports, queries, and APIs;
- Integrate Business Central with external applications, REST services, APIs, and Microsoft tools;
- Manage debugging, testing, deployment, and release activities;
- Support data migrations, version upgrades, and application evolutions;
- Collaborate with the team on code versioning, software quality, and technical documentation;
- Provide level 2 technical support for ERP-related application issues.
Technical Skills Required
- 2–5 years of experience in software development, with a significant portion focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar Microsoft Dynamics solutions;
- Strong proficiency in the AL language;
- Experience in developing extensions for Business Central;
- Proficiency with Visual Studio Code and the AL Language extension;
- Experience with web services, APIs, application integrations, and data exchange;
- Knowledge of Git and main versioning workflows;
- Ability to perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging;
- Solid understanding of ERP business processes, particularly in one or more of the following areas: Finance & Accounting, Sales/Purchase cycles, Logistics & Warehouse, or Production/Service.
Nice to have
- Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science;
- Experience with Business Central on-premises;
- Knowledge of upgrades, publishing, and extension management;
- Experience in technical analysis and development estimation;
- English language;
- Residence or domicile in the province of Vicenza.
