Description
The mosaic panels created for Illy reinterpret the iconic 1934 advertising poster by Bauhaus artist Xanti Schawinsky, featuring an elegant silhouette and a surreal atmosphere achieved through the use of complementary magenta and blue tones.
The artwork has been translated into mosaic through a composition of 64,336 tesserae and installed in several Illy cafés, including Milan and Dubai.
